Jamie Thompson (also known as J-Mi) was head of the music department for Cleanin' Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters (Documentary) with her partner Dave Phaneuf (Midi-D).

Career

Jamie Thompson has been working in the music and video game industry since 2007, appearing in many iterations of Konami's Dance Dance Revolution titles, for Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft consoles. [1][2][3]

In 2008, Jamie Thompson, along with a crew of Swedish producers and her partner Dave Phaneuf, were responsible for reviving the Swedish bubblegum pop band SMiLE.dk. The song "Koko Soko" from the album, "Party Around The World" reached number 17 on the ZIP-FM Dance Charts in Japan. [4]

Briefly training under the mentorship and guidance of Ghostbusters VFX Crew member, Producer-Director Sam Longoria, she continues to work on building her career as an dancer, singer, rapper, actor and all around entertainer, destined for Los Angeles, California.

Cleanin' Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters

Jamie Thompson and Dave Phaneuf were tasked with creating a score that could resonate with the Ghostbusters universe as a whole. Inspiration came from many places, such as: The Bus Boys, The Thompson Twins, Mick Smiley, Elmer Bernstein, Randy Edelman, Shuki Levy and Ray Parker, Jr.
