The Megazoid[2] is a machine made to represent a character in the movie Space Avengers of the Galaxy during filming.[3]

History

During a tour of a Hollywood studio where the Ghostbusters movie was being filmed at, the Ghostbusters and Bob the Agent stumbled onto a live set for "Space Avengers of the Galaxy" and accidentally shot a Megazoid robot. The Loud Mouth Director was infuriated and got into a brief fight with Peter Venkman. The crew went to work on fixing the Megazoid. The Sleeping ghost possessed and transmogrified the Megazoid. It told everyone to be quiet. Egon Spengler informed the others was getting some very high readings off the Megazoid because there was a ghost inside. The Ghostbusters retrieved their Proton Packs, but discovered they were movie props. They split into pairs and searched for their packs. Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore entered a Deadly Dr. Crowley set but were chased by the Megazoid. As they ran away, Slimer caught up to them. Ray, Winston, and Slimer made their way to an Old West set but the Megazoid continued to pursue them. They reunited at the replica Firehouse. The Space Avengers director gathered studio security to take back his Megazoid before the Ghostbusters could damage it further. The Ghostbusters opened fire on the Megazoid and but were unable to drive the ghost out. Egon realized something thanks to the way Winston worded their dilemma. Egon sign language to communicate with the ghost and it willingly exited the Megazoid. It worked but the director ruined the plan. The Ghostbusters trapped the ghost before it could attack. The Megazoid then fell to pieces and left the director in total shock.
