Television and Early Career

In 2018, James Acaster released his four-part Netflix stand-up collection, Repertoire. During that same year, he was part of the British game show series Taskmaster, where he was a contestant. In 2019, he went on a stand-up comedy tour "Cold Lasagne hate Myself 1999" in the United Kingdom, Australia, and America. Acaster is a co-host on the podcast Off Menu.

I had to hit the ground running with that. When we were filming, you just memorize the lines first and then you try and understand what it actually means, so you can talk about it with some sort of conviction."
