Energon is the energy source of Cybertronians.

History

After Ray Stantz force fed positively charged Psychomagnotheric Slime down the possessed Ectotron's mouth, Megatron was ejected in a stream of Energon. Ectotron pointed out he should not have been capable of projectile vomiting. Egon Spengler pinpointed Megatron's location above them with a P.K.E. Meter. Megatron quickly re-manifested but in a new form.

Trivia

• On page 1 of Transformers/Ghostbusters Issue #3, in panel 4, the small purple sugar cube box is a nod to the Transformers' Energon.
