Boo York[1] is a flip side world and more specifically a ghost version of New York City.[2]
History
Boo York is a thriving city populated with ghosts instead of humans and is home to the Peoplebusters. The Statue of Liberty is replaced with that of a witch and the city looks more like a giant demilitarized zone. The Ghostbusters, minus Winston Zeddemore, traveled to Boo York after they were sucked into the Central Park Twister.
Trivia
- The rules for ghosts and humans seem to be reversed in Boo York, to a degree. Humans can fly and pass through walls, while ghosts can't.
- On the Regular Cover of Ghostbusters International #11, in the bottom right, Boo York is referenced.
